Traditionally, individuals did not have much option but had to stick with the old conventional exposed toilet cisterns system. However in the present era, there are a large number of toilet designs on display and the four basic types of toilet cisterns to choose from include the close coupled toilet, back to wall toilet, low level toilet, and high level toilet.

The most common toilet cistern that you will find in the recent time sis the wall-hung system where the toilet can be with no trouble dangled straight onto the wall.

Close coupled toilets cisterns are considered to be one of the prominent styles of toilet for the very reason that they are featured in such a way that they manage to hide more pipe work than the low level toilet or for that matter even the high level toilets.

The only drawback as far as close toilet cisterns are concerned is that they are not as efficient and do not appear as tidy as the back-to-wall toilets.
